Rapidly resorbable microspheres for pain control in degenerative arthritis

Nexsphere-F is a rapidly resorbable, hydrophilic gelatin-based embolic microsphere for endovascular embolization with a sphere size of 100-300µm. It can relieve pain in musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, including knee, elbow, frozen shoulder, etc. Nexsphere-F is the first product approved in the EU for use as a fast-absorbing microsphere for arthritis.

Indication

MSK (musculoskeletal) embolization is a new type of procedure that can be used to treat chronic pain in the musculoskeletal system.
The formation of new blood vessels promotes the formation of nerve cells and causes joint pain. By blocking the abnormal vessel through embolization, the nerve cells are killed and the pain is reduced or eliminated.
MSK embolization can be performed on almost any joint, including the knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle, etc. and is more effective than conventional treatments because it is a minimally invasive procedure.

Nexsphere™ is a gelatin-based hydrophilic microsphere with spherical sizes ranging from 100-300µm to 700-900µm for endovascular embolization, which is used with a contrast agent in vascular embolization for therapeutic and therapeutic purposes. It is injected through a microcatheter into the blood vessel to temporarily occlude it. Nexsphere™ is a resorbable microsphere with uniform spherical particles, high elasticity and strong cohesion that demonstrates embolic performance in a variety of indications.
